Welcome, friends! I’m Bob, and I’m excited to share with you my latest adventure in crafting: building a Keroppi-themed bear in 2023. Keroppi is a beloved Sanrio character, and I can’t wait to show you how I brought this adorable little frog to life as a huggable, lovable plush bear!

Choosing the Perfect Bear

The first step in creating a Keroppi Build A Bear is selecting the perfect bear to be the canvas for our project. I chose a soft, light green bear to match Keroppi’s color scheme. It’s important to pick a bear with good stitching and a nice, cuddly feel.

Gathering Materials

For this project, I needed green fabric, black buttons, needle and thread, and some white and red felt. These materials will help bring Keroppi to life on our bear. Additionally, I made sure to have a sewing machine, scissors, and other crafting supplies ready to go.

Designing Keroppi’s Features

Next, I sketched out the design for Keroppi’s eyes, mouth, and signature red and white polka-dotted bow tie on the bear’s tummy. I made sure to measure and plan everything out carefully to ensure a great final result.

Sewing and Assembling

Using the sewing machine, I carefully attached the green fabric for Keroppi’s body, stitched on the black buttons for eyes, and hand-sewed the details of the mouth and bow tie. This part required a lot of precision and patience to make sure everything looked just right.

Adding Personal Touches

Finally, I added some personalized details to make the bear even more special, such as a small “Keroppi 2023” tag and a little heart stitched onto the paw. It’s important to add these little touches to give the bear character and make it truly unique.
